The protagonist Kouji, a high school student, wants to work part-time during his summer vacation in a restaurant called "Pia Carrot No. 2 Store". He was on his way to the interview when he bumped into the girl Azusa, which makes him the most hated person in her life. And Azusa working in the same restaurant as Kouji doesn't make things easier or less interesting.
The anime is originally based on a popular game by the same title.
